it's a new year!
i'm thankful for last year, 2007. it was in j2 that friendships in school were really strengthened, be it in class or guitar. and even though a levels was gruelling, i'm glad for it because though it God taught me to be more disciplined and learn to balance the things in life better. there were so many more lessons i learned throughout the year. i think i have most of my thoughts on those lessons penned down on the more traditional paper diary/journal already. but if need be i might add on some time soon. i wonder how many people actually keep a paper journal. but i need it to keep record of really important things so i can flip through it from time to time- to be encouraged by all God has done for me and his unfailing promises.

on a side note, the christmas parties of 2007 were a really good time of fellowship. and last night's sleepover was fun too! though not everyone could make it. watching house really makes you examine the Ethical, Legal and Social Issues pertaining to the advances in biology/medicine. it's interesting how you can actually learn stuff from certain tv shows. this reminds me of some class discussion we had in gp before. HMM. anyway, given how the developments in science in the near future are all likely to be in the field of biology, i'm glad i took biology up to a levels. and house makes you think about where you stand morally too. so yeah i do actually think it's a really good show even though sometimes the jokes are too crude for my liking.
